We played for a NC 18 years ago (which isnt many years before these kids were born) We have been a good team in the past 20 years just nothing spectacular by comparison to the 90's Bo pelini won 9-10 games every single year for 7 his 7 years.... so your argument is also killed there.


So lets check this out in the past 20 years Nebraska and 0regon have just as many National Championship runs and just as many titles, but Nebrask has 5 national titles to 0regons none.... Mmmmmk

I follow all BigTen teams not in ann arbor. And mentioning some facts about the Huskers isn't standing up for them. It's a fair comparison to what Oregon has done. Which by the way is kinda next to nothing. A serious question.

This statement probably belongs in a different thread, but 20 years from now we will only be talking about since the playoffs began. Kinda like pre Super Bowl champions. No one gives a rats ass about the Browns NFL Championships. Maybe Nebraska can put something together to pierce tOSU, Penn State, Wisconsin. Maybe USC will get their shit together and the rest of the PAC can challenge on good years. But since we have entered a new era of CFB playoffs. Nebraska has a steeper climb without a doubt.
