HAHHAA Gartner was a suckhole and Kurri was a product of playing with Gretzky.

Gartner was fast though but anybody who plays 20 years and ends up with more goals than assists isn't the guy I want on my team.

Pavel Bure had more goals than assists. Doesn't matter how long they were doing it, it's how they are. I don't know much about hockey but I know if a guy can score, then he can score.

Not sure how I can vote on the matchups when I don't know half the players. I guess I will listen to my teammate and others' opinions to kinda help a little and of course vote for my team lol

Nos is talking out his ass. He took my comment as a slight on his pick(I legit hoped we could get Mogilny) and now he's creating lame reasons to hate our guys.

And I'm not 100% certain but I think in one of the other drafts he talked up and/or drafted Gartner

Well, yeah Kurri is going be playing with other legends. There isn't a all time list that will have mogilny sniffing him.

Mogilny had a whopping 76 goals in a season, I'll give him that. He also failed to hit 40 in 14/17 seasons. Consistency is key...

Lots of right wings score more then they assist lmao. If its a centre we may have an issue

I dont care about all time lists, I watched all these guys play many many games, Mogilny had some injury concerns but put him on the wing of Gretzky for 12 or 13 years and he makes Kurri look like Brian Lawton.

Lots of wingers score more goal than they have assists in their prime years but not many who played 20 years end up with more goals than assists.

I can name Hull and Ovechkin off the top of my head as legends with more goals.

Just stop. It's embarrassing.

Bure left the NHL at 31 and he and Gartner were completly different players. So there is more to it than simply saying goal scorers score goals.

Hey, way to name two out of thousands, I didn't say nobody did it. You also picked two of the biggest puck hogs in the history of the league well done!

ALSO... Hull scored over 70 a few times and Ovechkin has gone over 50 like 6 or 7 times. Garnter hit 50 once in his 20 year career. Not quite the same...

Huh? You tried to discredit Gartner because he does what two all time greats do. You said it, not me

I may have drafted him and mentioned he was really fast but I never talked him up as a great goal scorer.

I don't hate your guys at all matter of fact everyone of them would be welcomed on my team.

Ok, in all seriousness Gartner was a great player a real blue collar guy who just always played hard but if you ever seen Mogilny play you would have seen that he had the wow factor Gartner never did, he didn't have a nice long career and wasn't as consistent as Gartner but he was pretty special. Truthfully can't go wrong with either one IMO...

Agreed 100%. With our roster we could really use some a consistent scorer known for his speed so Gartner fit.

And I wanted to defend his case big here because it was the nooby @Shanemansj13 that brought the pick to my attention. I was thinking of going another way but he got me thinking that we could afford waiting on my plan and snagging one more elite RW. Had to make sure Shane new he had a great find!

I think Hockey is giving me too much credit but that's what teammates are for. The expert talking good about me :suds:

Really nice on the Goulet pick

Thanks I really wanted him last round but my partner beat me to the pick thread. Glad we got his player and now mine. I think LW was very thin position and happy to get Goulet.

are we drafting for a real hockey game, where the 3rd defensive line and 4th offensive line does not play as much as the other lines and the first lines play more, OR are we treating all lines to play the same amount??
