How about instead of two different years for football we do NFC or AFC only? Just a thought... Then we could eventually do the other league and maybe have some kind of vote for best team from each draft...

how about 1993? Reminds me of 1990 MLB, just before FA, lots of great teams and players. The AFC/NFC is pretty good, kind of different. Or give 8 guys a different current division, 1 gets NFCEast, 1 gets NFCWest, etc. Or a 2000-present with dual GM's per team, one for offense, one for defense. Thats the thing about NFL, you have to change it up if you wanted to do dual years, because most people discredit the older players. Same with hoops. Great thing about baseball to me. You could do a 1927/1997, and the 27 players would be of just as much value as the 97's. That would never happen in the other sports

Yeah, we have talked about doing hockey for months now and can't get enough people.

Yeah, I don't like that idea the more I think about it. I do like the dual GM thing. Especially if it's like a dual year thing. Dual year, plus the Offensive and Defensive GM for each team would have to specify their scheme beforehand, and get credit for drafting to that scheme over sticking a big name out of position. For instance, LT being drafted as a 4-3 OLB gets seriously downgraded from being a 3-4 OLB. Or Randy White drafted as a 4-3 3T gets more credit than Randy White as a 3-4 NT. I know both guys could do it, but if I declare before the draft I'm running a 3-4, and then draft Randy White as my NT, it's pretty absurd
