Oh that's right yesterday I texted nos and Wlk saying I swore it was a 1980 draft. I had to redo most of my list. All of the 1980 drafts we have done got me confused. 2 nice picks you did make.

George Brett was basically #3 on my list (behind Clemens & Bonds).... Better hitter than Gwynn (imo) and at position with slim pickings...

Nolan Ryan, on the other hand.... should have slid a few rounds...

But, good start for Pack 500...

Brett was a top 10 guy for me. Had more power than Gwynn, not as much average.

Brett was career .305 with 317 HR's
Gwynn was career .338 with 135 HR's

Two great hitters, and I seriously doubt either of those two had butts that resembled a pin cushion
