Perfect example, the team around him sucked ass, his first year there he went over 1,000 and had 8 td's but like I said he was a child and sulked when the offense didn't revolve around him, I don't think it was a case of him not caring he just wanted to play on a team where he had a chance, he had no chance in Oakland.

Think we're saying the same thing just differently. If TO didn't get the ball enough he would undermine the QB and the coach behind their backs and in the media. Moss would check out at times. I do think it would be a legit issue together.

I'll say this about T.O., during his stay in Dallas, I thought he was great. Was he immature, yeah, yell if he didn't get the ball, yep, but the guy was an awesome player who played his ass off every game. Great freaking player IMO

Nobody is denying him as a player. But 3 teams voluntarily got rid of the dude. I don't think its a coincidence. An all time great like Parcells never wanted anything to do with him. It was more than yelling about not getting the ball. It was about undermining the head coach and the QB in the media and behind the backs of teammates. He did that everywhere he was. I just think him and Moss is like gasoline on fire.

No rip, I totally agree, Rice included

Rice was an amazing route runner, kept himself in amazing shape and had the greatest QB's of all time throwing him the ball but other teams didn't focus their entire game plan on stopping him, teams in the NFC West didn't draft players simply to try and slow him down. They did for the Freak...

EDIT... Look at what Randy did in 1998. The packers drafted three defensive backs with their first three picks in 1999.

There is no denying the talent he had but there is also no denying he was a cancer. I do agree he played his ass off however...

I still lean toward Rice, because I felt he was more complete. Randy just always seemed to rely solely on his athleticism (which was freakin' amazing) and let other aspects to being a WR just fall by the wayside. Jerry just seemed to understand all the aspects of playing WR, and did them all well.

Smitty must have fallen off his bar stool...

I was sitting in the theatre, waiting for American Sniper to start. Picked Mawae, cuz I thought Stoke had already picked again. Then I realized I was an idiot. So I edited for a receiver. Then I realized I was an idiot, again. Couldn't take that receiver. So I edited again, to TO. Now I realize for a third time, Im an idiot.

I'll repick in a sec.

Next time I eff up, no need to wait on me guys. Sorry. Sent ritz a decent list to avoid holding things tonight. But I held things up anyway.

If you'd rather have Mawae, I can repick someone else, as i picked out of turn the first time.

I wouldn't have picked Mawae until we came back around. Until you did. And only then after I spaced and thought you'd picked someone else.

As someone who watched at least 100 games he played in Randy was a better blocker than given credit for, he also went over the middle more than most people remember he was just smart and went down before contact most of the time. Like UK said best deep threat in the history of league and often made triple teams look foolish. I take Moss 100 times out of a 100 over Rice...

I just can't do it, Moss was studly and I always felt it was stupid for teams to pass on him the way they did, but even with all that natural talent I just can't see him being better than Rice. Rice's numbers (yes, numbers aren't everything) from 1986 to 1996 alone are better than what Moss put up his entire career. I mean, I've read that yac was created because of how Jerry played the game. If they were both coming into a draft at the age of their rookie seasons (Jerry 23, Randy 21) - and having the foreknowledge to know how each of their careers and personalities would develop over the years - I would take Jerry. Nothing against Randy, Jerry's just more of the style of receiver I prefer. In the end, it says something about both of them that they are seriously in the conversation for greatest ever.

I think Manning will like this receiving core. Don't know how he will do throwing to Wayne :noidea:

QB - Peyton Manning - 1998
WR - Larry Fitzgerald - 2004
WR - Reggie Wayne - 2001
TE - Tony Gonzalez - 1997

He can probably make that work
