Yeah another reason open voting is stupid, sometimes people tell their friends hey go vote for my team and you have things like that happen...

I agree voting this way is not fair so lets think of a better way. We have never had the same amount of votes in each matchup in allll the drafts we have done. I don't understand it because if you can vote for one why not vote for the other. Before we do the NBA with Hammer we should fix the voting before the big guy thinks what the hell are these 2 clowns doing.

One idea I've been literally kicking around is we do the rankings, the top 4 teams meet in a playoff and only the people in the draft and a committee of trusted hoop members vote. That way we will always have the people in the draft involved in deciding a Champion and a few people not in the draft just to make sure everything is fair and we aren't voting for our friends and maybe that's the only way i'll ever win again...


So whatcha think?

I think its funny and ironic that the 2 teams in the Championship game UK and myself. Cowboys VS Redskins and we both tried to play each other in the play in game. I actually voted for him #1 in the rankings and myself #2. This would be a awesome game to see in person. What a battle it would be. Since I ranked UK ahead of me I guess in all fairness I should vote for the best team again and I will. Good luck UK in the Championship game.

If you do win, I think it would only be fair if you took some of that VCash and bought me a Corona so I can drown my sorrows at having the Redskins beat us at home with Colt McCoy at QB. That's confidence inspiring

Great idea. The guys who do these drafts invest a lot of time, meaning they have been researching the era. A lot of times, the winner is decided because someone comes on and votes for whoever has the most players from their favorite team. 100% better way IMO

Yeah, I have never liked just letting anyone vote because like you said they vote for players they like or players from their favorite team it's not a fair way to determine a winner after we have all put so much time into the draft itself.

3 would be fine. Idvalao be willing to volunteer to be a judge if we end up with 9 again. Would rather play, but these drafts will attract more people I'd we continue with Vcash and change the judging IMO

Good call. There are a lot of sharp guys when it comes to football, and we have some regular Billy Beanes running around here as well lol. Bums comes to mind in baseball, dude knows his stuff

Not too long before 1980 hoops kicks off. That was a sweet period, I might have like 85 better, I cant use any of my Mavs from 1980, that was the worst team in NBA history. This year's Kentucky squad would spank their ass. Now a few years later....MA, Ro, Tarp, there'd have been a few. But sticking with 1980 keeps us out of MJ range, which is good. In past Hoops voting, a team with Magic, Clyde the Glide, Bird, Malone and Hakeem would lose to a team of MJ, Nos, Ritz, DooBee and me
