Never scored more than 50 in a game.

Defense was far from dominant as they had zero shoutouts when shoutouts happened ever weekend.

Beat Ohio State 17-16 in the Rose Bowl.

One would think they would have obliterated their opponents with so much talent. Yet.., they didn't.

It’s SC dude. Even in their “down years” they have more talent than any team on the west coast yet have had 1 real sustained run of success since the 80’s. Turn on any NFL game and when they do the introductions you’ll be like oh shit didn’t realize he went to SC.

Bama, LSU, and Georgia along with the entire SEC have more dudes in the NFL than anybody.

SC pushes out so much weak ass talent at QB it is crazy. Talk about busts, you have Matt Leinert, Matt Barkley, Cody Kessler, Mark Sanchez, Rob Johnson, Todd Marinovich, Sean Salisbury.

Rodney Peete and Carson Palmer is the best they have had for the past 40 years.

And some team will draft Caleb Williams next April #1. Sorry, gotta pass on that one.

I still like 1945 Army. They had two Heisman Trophy winners, and were coming off of a pretty big road win the previous spring.
