After dragging our feet and packing and not packing we went ahead and signed a year lease yesterday... really like the house, got an extra bedroom, a big back yard and a spot for the basketball goal for $25 more than we are paying now but we lose a tub on with the half bath... now I have to actually pack and move everything... not looking forward to it... trying to have the whole house moved and set up for Thursday... found out yesterday that in order to get the electricity turned on there is a $45 inspection fee to get a permit... the inspection consists of the inspector driving over to the house, looking around outside and telling the electric company they can turn on the power, which then is a $45 connection fee... $50 connection fee for the water that is already connected and running, which means $50 to put it in my name... and most beautifully, it's only maybe 2 miles from where I live now probably less, but it's out of the range for AT&T internet so I have to find out where to get new internet service from... not a big deal but I had it bundled with my cell phones and direct tv, so I lose a small discount on my direct tv bill... fuckers!
