Brook Berringer's life was cut WAY too short.
He'll forever be in our hearts. Never forgotten, Always missed.

I remember when that happened. From the times that I saw him play, he was a great player. From reading that article, he was a tremendous person.
Brook's soon to be bro-in-law also died in the crash with him. Brook had done really well in the combine (much better than Tommie) and was going to be drafted to the NFL a few days later. He was going to pay off his sister's school loans (who graduated from K-State with me) and but his Mom a nice house.
My Dad cried that day, so did I. He's still an inspiration. I have a poster autographed by his Mom in my office.
I completely forgot it was right before the Spring Game. I think my Dad still went... but I didn't? Well, I regret that now.Thought on the way down to Lincoln that was going to be the best spring game ever. Was the worst.
