Unless the owners let Kahn move the Jags over there, I don't see this happening any time soon as in the next decade...I don't see an expansion team being born over there.

I prefer 16, and the current playoff format, but I think shedding 2 of the preseason games and moving those to the regular season makes more sense than adding 1 game...every other yr you get 9 home games? Goofy.

Besides the 17 game sched, they are talking about adding 2 teams to the play-offs and only 1 team gets a bye. Also take away off field discipline decisions away from Goodell and appoint an independent arbitrator. And less punitive penalties for marijuana.

I'd like to see a bigger season. Turn those 4 preseason games into 2 extra games (regular season)

If you want to play preseason games in summer, it's up to you. Donate money to charity or @Darrell Green Fan 's returned puppy crusade.

Means teams will have to do better with position depth and organize their monies better. Challenge all around but more competitive games for the fans.

Personally I don't like it, because the pre season is for tryouts and it gives the guys on the bubble a chance to show themselves vs competition.... I've never had a problem with the pre season because of this...

I'm against the 17 game season the same reason I'm against adding any more teams. It will mess with the current perfect process of making the schedules/opponents teams play every year.

Yeah all that standing around with maybe 1-2 sprints for a fly ball, and what maybe 2 hogs around the bases in 3 hours must be exhausting.

Agree. If anything I'd like to see more OTA so teams would be more game ready coming out of the gate.

More OTAs and more contact back in training camp. These softer camps are giving us more injuries and a worse product.

The 17 game season is not going to work for one reason.....fantasy. If people start getting screwed over by unpredictable sits late in the season, it will cause a decline in fantasy football and thus viewership.

I'd rather see 2 extra wild card teams rather than a longer season... Add in another week of postseason due to more WC teams.... I'd rather see this than more games during the regular season...
