Ohh no ... I think he's a Rd 3 prospect. If we go another route than WR in Rd's 1 and 2 and he's still there in Rd 3 ... I'd look at him there.
yeah I think when all is said and done both Kupp and Zay Jones stay in their draft slot (2nd and 3rd) -- neither are popping up to the 1st round despite the hype. I think they are going to be middle of the pack speed-wise 4.5/40. I feel bad for Reynolds from A&M the frame of Pinkston without the blazing speed.

Haason Reddick looked good all week, could be a nice SAM to groom for the future.

Corey Davis hurt while training for the Combine ... leg or ankle ... Combine status in doubt.

I may or may not have put some marbles out while he was running

Hope he's available in the 4th round. We need Wr and CB in the 1st and 2nd, unless we fill those spots in free agency.

I think at worst he goes in Rd 2

Corey Davis had "minor" ankle surgery ... he may still not drop out of Rd 1, but it looks like he won't be working out for teams any time soon.

Yeah he supposedly won't be ready until minicamps now. I bet someone takes him late first.

I would be shocked if Davis doesn't go top 20.

I still think he'll go in the first ... hell, the injury may drop him right in our lap where he may have gone top 10 otherwise. As far as surgeries go it's on the "minor" side and he should be 100% by the time camp comes around.

A guy to watch for us: LT Ryan Ramczyk.

Might be a bit of a surprise but might be the smart pick given the Peters situation. Then they could either cut Peters or put him at LG for a year.

:agree:

Could be a blessing in disguise - he seemed to be a lock for the Top 10, now a possibility at 14/15. I don't think his surgery will affect his status much, if at all.

I strongly believe he is our pick but I also think that the Eagles secretly covet Lattimore and hope he falls. I'd be happy with either one. Davis is a great story and a great talent. Him and DeSean would be very nice upgrades. Lattimore is the complete corner we so desperately need.

Agree. And @Rey and I are on the same page. I think Lattimore will go to the Browns at 12 possibly. He is from Cleveland and went to Cleveland's Glenville High, same school Ted Ginn Jr. went to. It would not shock me a bit that is where he ends up.

Here's a sleeper prospect to consider, someone to watch at the combine:

Realistically speaking, there is zero chance of Lattimore making it to our pick. He seems to be the consensus top corner in this draft. He may go top 5 IMO. It would be great though. I think for us the choice at corner is going to be among guys like Teez Tabor and Sidney Jones. Jones has pretty much everything except he is too skinny. And it sounds like scouts think he will always be too skinny. He may be worth gambling on though, hoping he fills out as he gets older.

I like him a good deal, but he was used on loads of bubble screens ... he's way behind in the route tree, but he has loads of YAC ability. Rd 4 would be good value for him, but he may go earlier.

Jones is excellent from purely a coverage standpoint ... my issue with him is that he avoids contact as much as possible and does not fight well through screens. There's just so many guys grouped in after Lattimore that it may be best to just wait till Rd 2. There's like 5 guys after Lattimore who are all pretty much worth around the same ... I'd rather use the 14th or 15th pick on a different position yet get a Corner early Rd 2 who isn't much of a drop-off from a Corner you would get at 14/15.
