Boyle still out Brown back in the line up but no info on who's out. McLellan says he and Boyle are targeting the LA game for his return. McLellan also says he believes Havlat is less than a week away from returning. If I had to guess I think we'll see Havlat the next home game.

I'm under the impression there was never an issue between him and the team. It's McLellan and the coaching staff that had the problems. Supposedly that's all been discussed and is now water under the bridge.

sure didnt seem like it, it seemed like a few guys were irked by it,but maybe im reading to much into it. Valiant effort to go out there with the injury he had but ultimately stupid. I hope the surgery fixed what looked like a horrible strength issue with him staying up on his skates and his stride

I hope Nieto isn't hurt too bad, it's the last thing we need, maybe he got hit with a shot during warm-up. A 4th round pick for Mike Brown looks dumber and dumber each time this guy steps on the ice. Looks like Sheppard has stepped up ever since I took a fat shat on him last week, same thing goes for McCarthy, both guys have played well. Last but not least, I knew Erik Karlsson was good but holy crap, this guy is scary good! Footwork, speed, shot, positioning, all A++. Very Lindstrom-esque.

Why, he's been good at what he was brought in for. He's been fast on the forecheck and physical creating a lot of turnovers. I'll take that any day when you consider less than 7% of 4th rounders have NHL careers.
