We have a few teams on pace for over 95 wins. Will anyone get to 100 this year?

Anyone know what the most amount of teams to win 100 in the same season was? (I checked back to 2004 when two teams had 100 wins.)

Back before the split to 3 divisions, San Francisco won 103(?) and didn't even win their own division.

Was it 4 teams? Is this a trivia question or are we allowed to look it up? I remember in 1998, the Braves won 100, the Astros won 100, and the Yankees won 100. However, I don't recall if another team did.

You should look it up, but tell everyone that you didn't.... it is what everyone else does.

I think the Braves have a really solid chance to get to 100 this year. They are at 69 now I believe and have a very favorable schedule the rest of the way.

As long as they don't have another late season collapse they are looking good. What is it 12 or 13 in a row?

I don't think anyone will get to 100. Too much parity in the league for one team to stand out like that.

Looking at their schedule, I'd agree they have the best shot. They have to go 31-17 the rest of the way, but play a ridiculously easy schedule down the stretch. They play a 34 of those 48 games against the Phillies, Mets, Marlins, Padres, Cubs, and Brewers, and only 7 games against contenders.
