5 spots left to filled! 2 are pending with Harold and Azhawks

For everyone that joined...is the draft time cool with you guys? Or is there a time/day that might work better for everyone?

Seriously, I have not figured out why so many fans play fantasy football.

There's an aspect that caused me to play 1 season and think it's for :loco2:

I'd like to hear from all of the fantasy players so I can better understand the
joy of playing.

It's a violation in my book.

8 teams in...2 slots left open! If there is a big demand from more people to join...I could always expand to 12.

Why do you like Fantasy Football? Man law violation in my book....

Lets you be a GM for a day. You like to evaluate players, FF lets you pit your evaluations vs others, not only in the draft , but in trades and looking at FA.

It's all for fun and a social get together to get to know each other better.

I guess I'm a fantasy football buzz kill. There is no way on GOD's green earth that I would
ever draft a player from our division.

No Kaepernick, No Davis, No Gore, No Fitz, No Palmer, No Bradford, No Austin... No, No, No.

I want those guys to have lousy games week in and week out and why would I draft those guys that play my Hawks twice a season. It goes against my stringent beliefs of what it means to be a fanatical Hawk fan. I told you I'm a FF buzz kill.

Most of the NFC players I wouldn't touch. We play Brees, we play Newton, we play Ryan, we play Eli.

I'm relegated to Hawk players and AFC guys. We play Luck and Schaub for 1 game so those would be inactive weeks.

I'm not some :nerd: but a guy you hang out at the bar with and drop down a coldie :suds:. However, when it comes to FF, I just don't get the contradictions of wanting NFCW players and/or most of the NFC teams we want to lose to have great games so I can benefit in FF.

That's just how I rock & roll. :thrasher:

Sharing a few cold drinks is cool, going to a Game with a friend and enjoying the game is great, but not always possible.

Besides its not about rooting for a player to do good, its realizing that they will have good games no matter who you root for. It's giving good players there due, regradless of who they play for, and its pitting your judgement vs others. If your competitive it can be a blast.

FF is great. It gives you a reason to care about games that normally you don't. I admit it can get tough to let go of the bias, but everyone in the league has to let go of theirs as well. In the end it doesn't matter if you are rooting for Drew Brees, or Eli Manning. It has no affect on the outcome. Plus you can root for a player, while still hoping their team loses. I always root for my team first and foremost, then my fantasy. I would much rather the Niners win and lose in fantasy than vice versa. If both lose it becomes a bad night.... :gaah:
