The strange thing is that TEXAS still needs to win at Baylor to win the Big 12

It is a painful loss, but this game was essentially a mulligan game if they lost.

Win or Lose they still had to beat Baylor....

Now, they just don't have any room for error versus Texas Tech.

I would not say its a traditional ass kicking....

It is a weird game where Texas keeps starting at its own 5 yard line each drive.

Texas might end up dominating the yardage and time of possession.

But, they have to go 95 yards every time they get the ball.

Give a game ball to the OSU punter.

And OSU keeps starting at the 40

Texas has longer field goal drives than the OSU TD drives

And even when Texas was set to get good field position:

1. Muffed punt goes backwards
2. Roughing the punter turnover after a good return

I have never seen the FIELD POSITION make such a startling impact on a game.

an ass kicking is and ass kicking, no matter how you try and spin it. OSU is dominating yer boys in yer own stadium.

too damn funny....:laugh3:

OK if that helps you sleep tonight.

However, right now (start of the 4th quarter) total yards OSU 334 - t.u. 291

We get it. You're an octogenarian who found an internet connection and hate the Longhorns. You don't have to shout it in every single post.

Fat lady is singing just for you Mack. It could have been easy, run the ball, throw deep and keep the game close, winning the game in the 4th, but you are a stupid coach.
Throwing passes behind the line of scrimmage against the wind. Gawd. Take your $1.5 million buyout and walk away.

Woohoo, Texas gets the ball outside the 25.

I was hoping they would set the Big 12 record, but that last punt stops them from getting a silly record.

I disagree, it isn't an ass kicking. It's just dumbass Mack in control of a downward spiral. He even thought it wasn't a roughing the punter. If I wasn't so mad, it would be funny.

Mack was running the ball.

HE ran the ball like crazy in the first half. It was the perfect game plan.

The problem was that they were starting every drive on their own 5 yard line.

Without Johnathan Gray, it wasn't working with the less explosive Malcolm Brown.

Apparently Gray is the MVP of the season.

Without him, McCoy looks helpless down field.

Sup, Charlie.

Just ran across an interesting fact...

It's been 1,848 days since Texas beat a ranked opponent at home: 2008 vs Oklahoma State.

Why wasn't aggy ranked when they came to DKR in 2008?

What the fuck ever happened to Ash? Has he died or something ? Does he still have head problems ? They need to bench McCoy and find someone that can play QB.

This was so weird.

There was never the feeling that OSU was doing anything special....just methodical and mistake free. It seemed like I was watching grainy footage of some old school Notre Dame team.

The played field position to perfection.
They didn't have back breaking penalties.
They punted and kicked well.
They simply sat back and waited for Texas to make the mistakes.

It was strange to get dominated without any single DOMINATING moment.
