Good Lord....someone PLEASE tell Blanco to cut down his swing and think about hitting the ball the other way.......

That's what I wanted Scutaro to do (teach the younguns what 'situational hitting' means) but he hasn't been around most of the year. Scoots doesn't (generally) hit for a super high AVG, he doesn't hit with lots of power, but MAN does he use the whole field. I think he is the best situational hitter the Giants have had in years and years.

Why wouldn't KNBR broadcast the game over the internet? Is there an FCC rule?

There's a MLB rule: they want as much of your money as they can con you out of. If you *pay* for it (MLB app, or MLB radio, for example) then you often have the choice of either team's local radio broadcasts anywhere in the country.

(The team owns/controls local media rights and MLB owns 'national' media rights, including local broadcasts seen/heard out-of-market.)

I could do that with the MLB app. But I never really liked the whole sync up thing.

When I watch games on Fox I just mute it, no radio. Makes it way better.
