Red Zone play calling is a joke
Can't get off field on 3rd down
Too many missed tackles
Stupid penalties again
Jackson needs to step up his game
Mac did make a few ill-advised throws that should have been picked
Costly fumble again

A "w" for sure but it was ugly. Very ugly

We keep beating a dead horse.

The GOOD

Offensive line was stellar. One missed block got Mac sacked but Stevenson didn't touch the guy either.
Bourne was excellent today except for his holding penalty.
Hunter Henry looked like the TE that we all hoped he could be.

The BAD

Defense tackling was abysmal at the start of the game. It allowed an 18 play drive that ate up 10:07.
Secondary was just bad. Missing Jalen Mills exposed the weakness at CB.
Safety play was just plain miserable. McCourty should retire.

The UGLY

The PAT Folk Choke
Josh's play calling in the Red Zone for the fifth straight week.
Jonnu Smith is looking like wasted money

Definitely cut Folk. One of the few good players we have.
Yeah, that was a head scratcher @BigKen

Folk made 10 points today and the reason we won. He misses one of those 50 yarders and we probably lose.

In my opinion, he's no longer a reliable kicker. I was worried that he'd yank that last 36 yarder. It's not the 40-50 yard kicks that worry me, it's the 25-40 and there are just going to be way too many of those this year.

I'm not betting on the new kid either. He's more of a gamble than Folk at this point.

I don't think anyone has really mention Judon and what a fantastic addition he has been so far. Guy is a flat out stud.
You're right. He's really found a nitch and is force to be reckoned with.

This D could be fun to watch with the addition of Jamie Collins.

Need to sure up the run D and remind JC Jackson and McCourty how to cover and take better angles.

Can't say I'm not worried about next week with Dak and Zeke.

Did anyone see a review angle that showed that the Harris TD fumble wasn't after the touchdown? I saw a couple of angles that seemed close and he was "probably" short, but that's not the standard for an overturn. I also saw the defender had both feet in the end zone (the front foot was barely in, but it was in) and Harris had a foot on the goal line with a heavy lean forward.

The view from the right pylon was blocked by a defender. We never saw the view from the left pylon.

Maybe I did miss a better angle but to me The Pats may have been screwed twice by fumble reviews. The first when Stevenson was down and the video did show he was down. And now they overturned a TD without proper proof.

This clearly shows my recollection of where the defender was is correct, but where Harris was isn't correct. Still, Harris has a heavy lean and the ball position has moved from his left arm which was forward (which is why the ball was exposed) to behind his right arm which is back.

This one picture does not say enough, however maybe the frames before the fumble through the fumble make it clearer...

I always thought that when the ball touches the goal space over the goal line it was a TD.

I think that there should be a rule that once a player has a ball in the end zone any hit should be considered "Unsportsman". Seeing guys take a cheap shot after a catch in hopes that the ball comes free is bullshit. Most guys immediately relax after a play in the end zone and shots to the lower back or spine is dangerous and unnecessary.

From my point of view, the ball had just broken the plane when it was stripped out.

I kept hearing announcers (and ex-official) talk about the ball "crossing the goal line"
It was not necesary to "cross" Any part of the football on any part of the white is a TD.
Replays show he lost the football as he crossed. There certainly was nothing that should have changed the call on the field.

Replay officials are in New York!

Okay at this point I think it's fair to say this is not a very good football team.

Secondary was not good yesterday especially on the two third down plays where they just let the WRs break lose.

LBs look okay but not great and the D line still has issues stopping the run. They are both getting to the QB on occasion but stopping the run still seems like an issue.

Run game sucks especially when we fumble at the one inch yard. And no he was not across yet.

At least on TE earned a paycheck yesterday.

O line is beat up way to early for that is conditioning an issue?

Josh is scared shitless to open the playbook.

Bills have the division locked up. Its a battle for second best.

I think we all still need to remember we are still in rebuild mode looks like it may take another year or two, and I am cool with that.

Agree this team doesn't look very good right now. It seems every week the weakness is something different, which is a good thing.

Until yesterday the secondary had been playing well. Maybe Mills being out was a bigger concern then any of us suspected? Not sure why D Mac was taking bad angles all day? JC had a bad day no doubt.

The only issue I see with the LBs is their lack of run stop support. I see guys like HT trying to strip the ball and not tackling.

Run game has injuries combined with a devistated Oline. Tough to put a good run game together under those circumstances. I hate to say this but Bolden has been a pleasent surprise.

There are very few Gronklike TEs in the league. These two are doing ok in this offense. They block when asked. They force a D to cover them. Most the time they catch the ball when thrown their way. Mac Jones has been using all the receivers, backs and TEs. Only so many balls to go around. By them being on the field they open up other guys.

The oline did well yesterday condsidering the 4 starters were out. Heck I'd almost think about starting that group next week.

I'm seeing Josh open up the playbook. He's never been a total reckless play caller. I'm fine with letting Jones continue to throw the short to intermediate stuff. He's currently chewing up defenses over the middle. Comp % over 70. I'm good with that. Jones not near as effective with the long ball, nor does his oline provide him much time.

Yep this is the Bills division. Hoping the Pats can swing a 2nd place finish and a playoff game or two.

I felt that way too and even if the ball hadn't broken the plane there was not enough evidence to overturn it in my opinion. It was way too damned close to call and should've stood.

I saw the same as you. Not many good shots from the pylon, but the one they showed has him crossing the line before the ball coming loose, if you compare body position to other shot from above. It was a TD, IMHO.
