Grading the Flyers: Mixed bag of reviews for defense and goalies

Joel Farabee, LW, U.S. U18 (NTDP)
Farabee is a gifted two-way forward with speed who always is willing to pay the price to succeed. Farabee has leadership qualities and can be entrusted with critical late-game responsibilities. The Syracuse native also is a fantastic playmaker and a threat to score while shorthanded.

Barrett Hayton, C, Sault Ste. Marie (OHL)
Hayton is another center whose two-way game and puck skills could find him drafted in the top 10. The question is whether or not Hayton has been the byproduct of a dominant team. The optics reveal a sure-mitted pivot with a quick, accurate shot who can pull off highlight-reel plays. The fact that he hasn’t done so as a first-line player could help land him on the Panthers’ lap.

You know Neuvy and probably Elliott will be injured in the 1st half of the season. Call up and take over.

Really Elliot? I have more faith in him than i do Neuvy. Neuvy is made of glass and gets hurt way to often for my liking. I know Elliot was hurt also but i think we play better in front of him than any of our other goalies. Hopefully they are both gone when hart takes over.

It is but it really hurts their chances vs Pitt as he was getting almost 20 minutes per game and is almost a point per game player.
