the goalies (and team presumably) was told last night. A couple of benefits to the silence:

- deception for the Kings' sake. make 'em keep 2 scouting reports in their heads.
- don't let all the reporters write the "what this means for the future of the franchise" stories for today's paper. the players don't need to read that (and the twitter nuclear incident it would start)

if I was a kings fan ... I would be unhappy with this too ... you just never know with the NHL refs ... maybe he feels the subconcious need tonight to protect Daniel Sedin and call any King for looking at him the wrong way
