that was a god awful period except for Rinne, should not be this close. Hope Trotzy woops them in shape, were bound to lose with play like that

Goals will likely be at a premium in this series...I sense a lot of 2-1 and 3-2 games.

Pekka Rinne saved our asses that period. Hopefully the Preds come out better in the 2nd.

That period showed how the two teams might win the series.

Vancouver - Played practically the whole period in Nashville's end. Powerplay looks scary good.

Nashville - Just like usual, a real pain in the ass for the other team. Blocking shots, good checking, solid-to-great goaltending.

If the Canucks let themselves get frustrated, Nashville will get their chances. I have to admit though, Vancouver looked very very good.

If Rinne wan't playing as well as he has been, I could easily seen us down by about 2 goals heading into intermission. Our offense needs to step it up, the defense hasn't looked great either.

the biggest difference this whole season.... Van doesn't get frustrated as the game goes deep anymore.
very patient team. Very good 3rd period team
