easier said than done. they are very, very good at being aware of their surroundings.
and if you stray out of position to chase, they will eat you alive.
Sedins and Burr have combined for 10 pts (4+3+3) in the 4 games this season
Erat has done well against Van (4pts), the rest is kind of spread out (a few guys with 2 or 1 point each).

it'll be interesting. games were mostly tight. W 2-1, L 3-1, L 3-0, W 3-1

for the most part the Sedins are also hard on the puck in the offensive zone especially when they are trying to get possession. When you have a dman with superior puck handling and skating skills (like Duncan Keith) who can skate away from them with ease, there are issues

The Oilers had always had the problem of sorting out what to do ... the Sedins career numbers against them are crazy ... Oilers tried the 2 strategies: hit them or sit back ... give them time and space and get burned OR hit them and they hang in there to make a great pass and get burned

lately the Oilers have figured it out ... when one brother has the puck ... put body pressure on the other brother

this playoffs, its the defensive zone thats been a problem for the Sedins ... they have had a horrendous time trying to gain possession ... big time fire drill especially when Samuelsson is hurting and invisible

We have plenty of speed with Erat and Fisher. I'm not sure how Trotzy will match them up, roughing them up with Tootoo and Smithson might work because Smity is one of our better defenders and Toots has been exploding on Offense (with speed too i might add)

If Preds take game 1, I'd be worried you Nuckers :attention:

If the Preds don't take game 1, I'd be worried for Nashville. This is by far the most winnable game of the series for them with Vancouver getting not much rest(thanks to CBC).

Btw, I'm pretty sure Erat is hurt. Getting him back asap is a must for the Preds

I believe Erat will be ready to play. They showed him skating around during practice. And I agree about game 1. It should favor the Preds with them having more rest. Either way, Nashville must come home with a split.

One more thing, Ward has to be better. If he plays like he did against ANA then he has to be scratched or the Preds lose this series. His work along the boards (something he has been good at over the years) was pathetic, and he has zero confidence in taking the puck across the blueline. How many times did he pass the puck between the center line and the offensive blueline when he had a lane to skate it into the offensive zone? I hope maybe Trotz puts Legwand/Erat/Halischuk together.

Loved the way Nash played against Anaheim. Watched the whole series. Fucking Teemu!!! Hated him and loved him at the same time.

the fact nashville is travelling all day today to get to vancouver could make game 1 a little less "easy" to win

I liked the way they played against the Ducks too, but to be quite honest, Anaheim was a vastly over rated hockey team. Again, not to take anything away from the Preds, but watching the Ducks down the stretch, I really didn't think they were that good a team. Their defense alone was patchwork at best and were being carried mainly by Perry, Getlaf and Teemu.

Still though, they managed to expose some holes in the Preds game which best be closed up quickly. They aren't going to dominate the Canucks they way they did Anaheim.

I think they can too, but it still feels like Nashville is getting a free game here, which really doesn't seem fair.
