This. Stupid play by Carter. Devils got away with a delay of game as well, so the refs aren't exactly trying to decide the game.

It was an OBVIOUS penalty. If they don't call those, hockey would just be wrestling every 3rd period of every playoff game. Part of earning it is not making mistakes. Make posts like you actually know something about hockey.

You can't knock a dman into his own goalie while your team has control of the puck in the offensive zone. It really isn't that difficult to see it was a penalty in any series.
