Can't wait for Torts press "briefing"

Reporter: Torts what happened tonight?

Torts: We lost

Reporter: Yes but why did you lose?

Torts: Cause

Reporter #2 John did you think you outplayed them tonight

Torts: next question

Reporter #3: How do you like your chances on Friday

Torts: I will keep it in the room.

That should just about cover it

How did the War Room decide that Callahan goal was NOT a kick? Very strange.

I think they did not see a distinct kicking motion and that's the determining factor. Did Callahan direct it in? Absolutely, but you are allowed to do that as long as there is no distinct kicking motion.

Edit: I should also add that it was ruled that the puck went in off Callahan's leg, not his skate.

That's one of those ambiguous gray areas the officials get. Like "Intent to blow the whistle" equals the play is dead.

Like the second Ranger goal. He practically had the fucking whistle in his mouth.

so much rep when I get home 43. The ref pretty much swallowed the whistle after he wanted to blow it

I did...Rangers have played waaaay too many games. If New York pulls the series out, they will have played 21 games to LA's 14. Can you say "out of gas?"

Hard games as well (Rags defensemen are getting pounded). On a positive note, Gaborik scored his series goal, so he can head right back to the missing in action list.

they were up 3-2 in 1994 too. I dont think this series has anywhere near the drama as then, but as a devil fan i wouldnt want to go back to MSg for game 7. Just waiting for Callahan to make his Messier game 6 prediction.

We let in a couple of slapdick goals and the Rangers missed out on some golden opportunities. We stole one in game 5, which makes up for losing other games we outplayed them. Just one more game. Exorcise the demons of 94.
