Not entirely unexpected. We're super deep at the NHL level and even down in the minors he'd need to compete against guys like Urbom and Gelinas. He's the man on Michigan. Let him take his time.

Agreed. Plus let him make things right especially after being suspended for all those games last season. He wasn't playing in the NHL next season anyway.

I think he's still not under contract either since he's still in college. So no years used up on an ELC yet. Obviously don't want a Schultz type situation though.
