Oh my GAWD, is that the conversation?

Lmao

Jeezus, I said a case could be made that Brown is a better individual defender than Tatum.

How the fuq did that statement evolve into..........THIS?!?!

The hawt take machine said that Brown would be like James Worthy. I asked if he thinks Brown will be a hall of famer.

He said he does and tried use Grant Hill to back the claim. lol

I honestly think the Warriors win in 5
Honestly it's not impossible. Neither is Boston in 5. These teams are pretty evenly matched IMO but we'll see. How they look in these first 2 games will set the tone.

I said 6, but 5 could happen...

Hopefully, the Warriors' experience will make the difference. The elder Warriors have had plenty of rest not only during the playoffs, but also during the regular season, so there are no excuses for them.

I expect the Warriors to be more prepared for game 1, but after that, I think it will be very even.

Grant was a savage his first 6 Seasons in the NBA.

ROY, 7 time All-Star, 1st Team All NBA once, 2nd Team 4 times, 2X NCAA Champion.

Yeah, that will get you into the HOF.

I like the newbie.

But, like most of us, the homerism is strong in that one....lol

Grant Hill was also a great college player.

James Worthy was a 7 time all star and by the time he was 27, he was a 3 time champion and a finals mvp.

Jaylen Brown isn't going to be a Hall of Famer.
This is brown's 4th conference finals, that should have more value then college play.

I don't see how jaylen's career will end up that much worse then a guy like

Hopefully, the Warriors' experience will make the difference...
No one outside of LeBron is as experienced as the leaders of the Warriors... that said: the Celtics have quite a bit of collective, big game playoff experience of their own.

I was surprised at how many Game 7's Tatum and Brown have been in... it's like 7 different times now.

Saying Jaylen is better then Tatum is a bigger hot take then saying jaylen could be a hall of farmer in my opinion.

Tatum is clearly the best player come on.

While jaylen is the sidekick to the best player in the league. You're telling me he can't make the hall of fame while winning multiple rings making 5 all stars and playing for the most historic franchise in history? Webber made it with 5 all stars winning nothing and playing for the kings lol

Narrative has a lot to do with hall of fame. I'm not saying jaylen in a vacuum is a hall of famer. I'm saying he's good enough to be a hall of famer due to the situation he's in and the team he's on. Very similar to how a guy like klay will be a hall of famer but would of never sniffed a hall of fame if he played for your thunder or some trash team like that.

This Tatum/brown duo could make 5+ finals, their young enough and Tatum is great enough. When stuff like that happens, hall of fame voters go by narrative.

Yeah, but on the homerism scale from 1 to Wiggy....most of us are in the 4-6 range...the noob is a solid 8. lol

Yup, Celtics won't be afraid of the moment. Hell the Warriors rarely played game 7s since 2015.

It's weird seeing the Ws in the finals but not having them strong favorites. Basically like 2015 again.

Well, its the Basketball HOF, not the NBA HOF.

So, they take everything into consideration.

Stats wise, I understand what you are saying.

But, achievement wise, no.

Worthy and Hill blow Jaylen out of the water.
