Remember when people thought D'Antoni was acutally going to start winning in the playoffs?

With that said, T'Wolves are a damn good team and just as scary as the 76ers are, these guys are young and should be really good in 2-3 years.

They should start tracking how far a player moves after a screen is "set". Jeff Whithey would lead the league in distance per screen, but does not play enough to take the distance travelled crown.

Also, why the fuck do the wolves keep letting Teague go 1 on 1 with Capela on him when they have a clear mismatch with Towns? Perplexing...

Thibs is a flat out bad coach. Doesn't prepare his team for the switches. Most teams FORCE switches and attack the mismatches. Not the Wolves. They don't even know what to do during a switch.

Towns and Wiggins are really their only young players after trading Levine and Dunn. With that said, they can get better, but I think a guy like Wiggins probably won't reach what many thought he would.

Minnesota is holding one of the best NBA offenses to 76 points right now................

Thibs is a defensive, physical coach. We are not used to seeing this in todays finesse NBA world, so it may look choppy and crappy, but it is actually great basketball because it is DEFENSE.

Thibs is NOT a garbage coach.

He wasn't, the game left him behind. He went adapt. All he is good for is running players into the ground and stunting development of the bench

Well he's gotten the Timberwolves into the playoffs and has done a great turnaround years earlier than projected, and again, the Wolves are holding their own on the road vs the Rockets.

He got them there by one move. The trade for Butler. It was one of his few good decisions. Butler missed a few weeks and they dropped from 3rd to 8th.

Meanwhile 3 of the top 15 minutes per game are all on the same team. He stunted the growth of the few bench players he had by jerking their minutes around. Gave heavy minutes to the worst defensive player in the league while a few players that showed a little promise whithered.

I would happily give up the playoffs one more year if it would get rid of Thibs.

What are you talking about? After they got Butler they were expected to make the playoffs by every projection.

This would be a bad game to lose for Houston.

Minnesota top players are doing nothing but they're right in the game
