I've got the Rockets winning tomorrow partly because I don't think the Warriors will give the effort required to win and not having Iguodala and West. I'm not sure the Warriors realize that game 4 is a must for them and they'll come out lackadaisical again like in game 2.
Losing game 4 is huge because the Rockets surely will win game 5 at home which then means it goes to seven and we know what happens then. I'll be interested to see if they come out intense and focused tomorrow. I'm betting they won't.

If the Rockets are the favorites and the best team in the NBA, why is it on the Warriors here to be the team that has to give the effort required to win. Shouldn't the Rockets just win because they're better?

Because the Warriors showed everyone last night, even skeptics like me, that they are the best team in the league.................when they want to be. The problem for Kerr is getting them to want to be.

Their history shows them to do only what's necessary and not give the extra effort required unless they really feel like they are in trouble.

The chance of the Warriors losing the next 2 games is actually significantly less than the chance they win the next 2.

Yup. Got to say I was one of them. I was highly critical of Ainge for just hording picks and not using them to acquire established talent. Stevens has clearly been his best move though.
