Momentum is an underrated thing.
Once you lose it , its hard to get it back.

And yet after every game this series the momentum has shifted back to the other team.

i agree--- i stupidly down played Iggy's impact on the game earlier that day but after looking at the guys the Warriors played beside their big 4--- I am totally changing my tune on Iggy- they NEED him.

Kevin Looney, Quin Cook, Nick Young, Jordan Bell, Shaun Livingston are the guys that got minutes besides the Warriors Big 4. Thats a summer league roster. A bad summer league roster. Livingston is the only guy id actually even remotely want and trust in a big playoff game.

Yep, GS was missing a key starter who would have probably been the difference in a close game. Injuries are no excuse, but they are an explanation. Just as the Cavs were too injured to win in 2015 Finals, and the Warriors in 2016, and the SPurs (without Kawhi) the last 2 years, injuries matter. Hope he's back for game 5.

to brush over missing Kyrie Irving for all but 1 game and Love for the entire series and compare it to Curry "being injured" despite being back for over a month is quite hilarious.

Everyone talks about how important defense is until it actually shows up and then it's 'look how shitty that game was' SMH

Can't think of a reason why 2 offensive dynamos couldn't score last night. It's a total mystery.

Golden State played 1 on 1 basketball. When Curry & Durant attempt 50 shots, you know they weren't playing smart/team basketball.

Not sure we can say the Warriors played great though. Yes the Houston D was a big factor, but as a couple pointed out above, the Warriors were missing Iggy and made some bad choices too. That was hardly either team's A game on offense.

LOL I agree. My comments were directed at Houston poor play in game 3.

Warriors didn't play great by any stretch so I'm sure they're very confident heading into game 5 knowing they can play much better

Ill clarify.
I meant during the game, not carrying over to the next one.

Warriors made the run and started playing careless like it was over.
Rockets didn’t see it that way.

i dont have a problem with curry and durant taking that many shots- because outside of draymond and klay- id much rather have curry and durant takign those shots then anyone else. Klay did have 13 shots which is pretty reasonable- and draymond prob could have used acouple more than 8 shots--- but thats not terribly out of line in my opinion.

Looney playing 26 minutes makes me throw up in my mouth a lil bit......though hes freaking Michael Jordan compared to Rodney Hood at this point.....its funny what the playoffs will do to a guy.

i still think the Warriors are at least 2-1 favs to win the series- but this Game 5 is going to be an absolute shit show.

Both of these game 5's are set up to be extremely interesting games to watch.

Hopefully they are good close games and give us some good basketball to watch. Pretty cool both series are tied right now.

Did you guys see Steph Curry dancing last night?

its just so ridiculous

how cna you cheer for that guy?

could you imagine any other playing dancing on the court? Its just so ridiculous. It makes me want to throw up.

I go back and forth with that stuff.
No different then the flexing , the 3 symbol, etc..
I find it all annoying, but also consider its just entertainment, so it is what it is.

It was like watching a completely different team. I kept asking what they were doing all of the 4th quarter.

I think both road teams win game 5. That's hot take #368 in this thread by me.

You are compaaring the Cavs losing Kyrie and Love or Kawhi to the spurs, to the W’s missing their 5 best player lmao. And Curry played in the 16 Finals and said he was fine just like this year. That was just Lebron and Kyrie being great. Iggy is important but GS as the super team of super teams we have ever seen, they should win without him and they were favorites in this series for a reason.
