Well thats about it. I said I would be happy with a W and thats what it was. Mixed bag for the defense as well as the offense. I thought Murray was awesome tonight as well as Austin. Defensively- Carter and Selvie seemed to be everywhere. Got to clean a lot of stuff up. What scares me is the way the Giants played us defensively. It was almost like they were saying do what ever you want for 10 yds but eventually you will screw it up. Dont care - lets get ready for KC

I couldn't have been more happier with the defense tonight. Maybe I'm seeing the glass half-full, but that was the Giants, and no way was beating them in our new stadium for the first time gonna be easy. We had to earn it, and we did, and did it in a way we usually never do it.

I mean, the defense was the reason we won the game so the yards given up don't really matter to me, and the last TD was a gimmie; the game was over at that point.

The defense scored twice. Four more turnovers. If the Offense had been clicking, we'd have had 50 points, most of them set up by the D. I can live with the yards

If you think about it, the majority of the yards came on 2 big plays. If these turn out to be the norm we will be in trouble, if they are the exception we should be fine.

I'm definitely concerned about Claiborne. Showing zero instinct. On that long TD to Cruz, instincts gotta kick in and stick with him because he's a guy that you just absolutely can't let beat you deep. And he pulled a Mike Jenkins one play where he made an awful tackle attempt.

I can agree with u on that one.
Just wanted to say congrats on the win. Week one was very sloppy in all games. But I would have to say that some games that we were each seeing a wins could be tough. KC looked good, Denver is better then last year, Detroit looked good, and Oakland might not be as bad as people think. I hate bad teams with a little confidence. They lose a lot but seem to be in every game. Both games should be interesting tonight and hoping not to see any major injuries on any team.

The odd thing is that I came into the game thinking our OL and DL were the weaknesses. Then the OL and DL both do solid jobs. Not sure they can keep up that intensity all season, need some depth. But the secondary looked like they hadn't played much together. need to get that fixed, and I think they will. Need Wates in the guard slot and I think that will help the running game that couldn't get going yesterday. I'm thinking that was teh plan all along, talk up the run game then throw a ton. When we get Waters in here we can try the run game again.

You guys are being way too tough on Claiborne. When was the last time he really practiced? Could he have turned and saw that Cruz was running free on that play? Yes, but that wasn't his job. Wilcox could have done the same thing if you want to say that. Allen screwed up. Not a huge deal, but it was his guy. The miscommunication was so poor, that you think a time out may have been the answer...
