This is a tough call. By the strict words of the bet I would go with you because Jacoby wasn't "cut". However, I interpreted the context of the argument with Rock taking the position that Jacoby would not be on the Pat's 53 man while you indicating he would be.


I actually thought he'd be on the team too and the Pats would carry 3 QBs, so I was impressed that Rock saw something coming.


You two probably should walk away from this one and count it as a push.

Secondly, I had the misfortune of reading some of this gay Patriots talk on an MLB thread last week, and I agree with Rock that the spirit of the bet was about how many QBs were going to be on the team.

However, the bet offer and acceptance states pretty clearly "cut," so to the letter I think you won. That's why I'm always careful as hell about the wording when I offer or accept bets.

That all said, I suggest you post Rock's new avi, sign off, and never come back again. I'll make sure he wears it. I promise. . .
