I don't know if I can fully explain this, but David Price reminds me of Josh Beckett. Not just in some of the off the field stuff, but like Beckett, it seems like if he's on and everything goes right - he's amazing. But if something goes wrong (e.g. Pedroia slipping and only getting one out instead of a taylor made double play) he lets it affect him and typically unravels.

looking back even further, since he peaked around june 2 with a .369 avg and 1.112 OPS...
