Told y'all Rogers was a nasty closer!

Great redemption game for him and the Giants. Mission accomplished! (2 wins)

House money tomorrow.

tzill better be happy with this one.

Just saw that Rogers has extreme reverse splits, .135 BA vs lefties, .318 vs righties (!)

So...again...Kap?
Kap is obviously a pitching matchup genius. He was clearly working toward the Bellinger matchup as that was the crucial at-bat. Smith would be too full of himself and obivously get under the first pitch in the zone and Kapler knew that Pollock would swing wildly at a ball outside the zone.

Heard this on the broadcast, Giants have lost 8 games this year on walkoffs (like last night). But after tonight their record the next game is 6-2.

Sorry for not taking part in GDTs recently. I have gotten in the habit of watching games on a delay, and obviously that is not conducive to GDTs.

With Jenson getting booed, it got me thinking about who Giants fans last booed. I can’t remember anyone. McGehee wasn’t booed. Rowand wasn’t booed. Tejada?? Alphonso? Pierzynski? Juden?

Jeff Juden - now that is an obscure name you pulled out. I couldn't even remember him pitching for the Giants so I had to look that up. It was 1996 and his numbers weren't awful but weren't great either.
Did Armando Benitez get booed during his tenure as Giants' closer?
