You said that 3 years ago. At this point with what I've seen from Severino/Pineda plus CC & Jordan been solid enough for 4th and 5th starters, they should just tell him do the surgery. No way is he opting out of that contract with how bad he has been this year.

Awesome, isn't it? I'm glad I traded away an injured Bumgarner to acquire him and McCullers (although, McCullers has been great, I suspect an innings limit will come into play for him at some point).
