The Giants face the closest thing that they had to a number 2 starter last year - Tyler Anderson
Slater - cf
Ruf - rf
Longoria - 3b
Flores - 1b
Crawford - ss
Dubon - 2b
Casali - c
Tauchman - lf
Cueto - p
Definitely the B lineup tonight. Interesting to see that Tauchman is in the lineup but down in the 8th spot. Personally, I'd rather see more of Slater than Tauchman. The reason? Look no further than the triple slash in 2021 with SF:
Slater - .227/.318/.392 (97 ABs)
Tauchman - .207/.276/.321 (53 ABs)
And its interesting to see Ruf in right field. His bat needs to be in this lineup. He's hitting .213/.377/.489 in 47 ABs so far. His OPS is good for 2nd on the team (3 points ahead of Belt).
