2015-16: Who Will Win - Ravens @ Broncos

I don't feel comfortable about the game for the Ravens. I don't think they looked efficient in PS and the depth didn't look good. Trestman's short game will work with the Ravens personnel (missing Perriman) and to offset a Wade Phillips D. I think the key for the offense is if they can sneak...

    Baltimore Ravens Ongoing Thread

I thought the secondary did a great job during the playoff game. No Bell but contained a very hot offense. It will be huge if Brady doesn't play in the first game. I had that game as a loss in Pitt's schedule and it should turn it into a W.

    Looks like Pitta is done...

I hope you're wrong. I feel that they need Pitta for a successful season (having a vet in the TE group is important). Maxx Williams hasn't really made an impression yet. It could be up to Gilmore to step up this year.

Team Successes/Failures In Finding Franchise QB's

As a Ravens fan, I've seen both over the past 10 years. Drafting Boller in the 1st in 2003 and waiting for him to develop. Of course it never happen and wasted about 3 to 4 years of the Ravens defense in their prime. They did get McNair in 2006 which they promptly turned it around. Then...

Worst Loss By All Teams In Super Bowl Era

For me, the article mentioned the Ravens lost to the Pats this year but that wasn't the game. The biggest one game that had me heaving was the Jan 2012 AFCCG against the Pats. The WR dropped the ball with just seconds left in the end zone. They still had a chance to take the game into OT but...

In Depth Look At NFL Teams Past Fifteen Seasons

I like it for the most part. There is an argument for the Steelers to be #2 and the Ravens #5 (or possibly #4). For the Ravens, to have only a one game Win difference but having two titles to no titles plus consistency still (except QB's). It can be easy to leap frog Philly and possibly GB...

    Baltimore Ravens Ongoing Thread

The rivalry has been 15 yrs strong and is the best in the league. Shazier didn't have the best of rookie seasons. An offseason might do him wonders but they already drafted over Jarvis Jones their 1 rd'er from 2013. It has not been smooth trying to rebuild the defense. Their pass D was bad...

Tom Brady Will Sue the NFL in Federal Court

Hey Hammer, how do I get off the probation period? I can't email any mods because of the restrictions. It's been 5 weeks with over 80 messages.

Tom Brady Will Sue the NFL in Federal Court

If I was able to move this along by giving them the printouts of the messages, you're damn right I would give them what they are looking for. If I had no part in this, then there is no reason to not provide it.

    Baltimore Ravens Ongoing Thread

I am curious to see Pitts D this year. They have to replace the leadership/talent of Polo, Taylor, and Worilds to name a few. The Ravens were able to retool the D over a 2/3 year period of time and the Steelers have been doing it too. It will be interesting to see all their young players.

    Who wins the AFC East?

I love me some Torrey Smith. I will miss him being a fellow MD'er. He was the deep WR that we needed at the time we drafted him. He didn't develop beyond that and he was not a physical receiver but he was one hell of a game changer. As for this year, it is a good thing that Trestman is the...

Best front 7 in the NFL...

I know exactly why you posted it but you yourself said they are a "slighty better than average team". I see them winning at home against Seattle (cross country, prior week at MN, and Balt has a top notch rushing D), beating SF in San Fran, losing to SD at home (always had trouble with SD), and...

Best front 7 in the NFL...

You're underestimating the Ravens if you think they are slightly above average. As easy as you can find a power ranking with them being 13th, I can find one just as quick as being the #1 team (SI), Top 3 roster (ESPN/PFF), Top 3 Coach (NFL.com), Top 5 Front Seven (PFF), Top 3 Pass Rushing Duos...

Best front 7 in the NFL...

There are open questions about the secondary just because they are either coming back from injury (Smith) or new pieces (Lewis at FS & Arrington at slot). It could be a very good secondary or just an average one. There isn't any bad talent back there.

Best front 7 in the NFL...

....but they made the play to win and they still don't have any team in the AFCE to challenge them for this year. Pats take the AFCE again.

They finally get back to winning a bowl and they have to defend themselves. Priceless.

I agree with them being in the discussion. If you flip flop Dumervil and Upshaw they would have the best front 7 despite not having any elite players D.

Hey, welcome. One more off next year's list. I like the extension. Koch was one of the top punters last year and has been very consistent for us over the years. Not much guarantee money so easy to release if need be. The Ravens have a big choice coming up next spring with KO and Yanda both...

Nice taking my post out of context Southie. I never mentioned how Seattle's offense will do against the AFCN this year. I said that Baltimore has faced tough defenses year after year which will help with face Seattle's. Since Flacco has been in the league, the AFCN has produced 16 Top 10...

    Ravens ranked Best......

I heard about Kendrick Lewis' challenges with time. To be honest, I am a little worried about it and I hope he is able to offset it with his instincts. As for the young drafted players, Jimmy Smith is the closest. He hasn't shown the knack for the ball but he can cover like crazy which is...
