I think Ingram has the higher ceiling of those four. He showed significant improvement in his second season. He's getting stronger and understanding more how to use that ridiculous length. He was able to bump defenders and keep his balance when attacking the rim. He had a better release point on...
A bad but improved team from the prior season. Certainly LeBron makes a significant difference. With the additions of Butler and Teague, Minnesota won 16 more games last season than the year before. I think the Lakers win about that many more and will be a tough out in the playoffs simply...
That was Magic and Rob's plan when filling out the roster. They figured it's better to try to stop the Warriors from scoring than try to outshoot them. They should be able to switch on everything defensively.
The jerseys this year are nice, with the exception of the black stripe on the purple roadies. Love the old shadowing. Can't wait to see what they replace last year's Mamba jersey with. Those were sweet.
Y'all still holding down the fort here on the SportsHoopla. Nice! Looking forward to another NBA season, this time with the Lakers making some playoff noise again. What a wild July!
I was thinking the same thing while driving around town today. The more games played, the more tape other teams will have to game plan. Conversely, though, more games played should lead to more improvement on both sides of the ball for the Lakers. I do think now that they can get to 30 wins...
He's doing everything I said they signed him for back in July. He's playing strong defense, getting boards, and providing for the guards a competent roll man. Such an improvement over Hibbert.
Russell, Randle, and Clarkson are the top 3 in minutes played. No one is averaging more than 28 mpg. I think Walton keeps it that way. Given the high pace style of play, Luke wants to keep players fresh. He's not limiting the youth's minutes trying to squeeze out victories by playing the...
Really like how they are competing. The offense isn't nearly there yet. It is still pretty disjointed, which is to be expected really. Yet, they have still be in position to win these road games. I feel last year, these games would have been blowouts.
Trade deadline has passed in this league. I'm already looking ahead with Cousins and week 15 (our championship game). I think he'll have a tasty matchup at home against Carolina. That might be looking too far ahead though at this point of the season.
Indians closing the deal tonight @WiggyRuss?
Cleveland...could be the new titletown. Crazy after all the losing to possibly win two major titles in one year.
I have to record the game with these early starts and catchup when I get home from the office/gym. I have to stay offline once the game starts because I don't want the result to be spoiled. The one good thing though is that I get to fast-forward through the commercials!
Definitely a better product to watch this season. I'm not sure that will lead to that many more wins this season. I think they'll have a decent chance to hold on to that top-3 protected pick again even if they reach the projected o/u number.
My RBs are Murray, Gordon, Gurley, and Crowell. With the minor toe injury to Murray, it is probably a good idea to handcuff him with Henry. The Titans love running the ball and Henry would likely put up good numbers if having to start for an injured Murray.
Question is, who do I drop? I'm...
