I didnt read the whole thread but I dont blame any RB for skipping camp or the preseason games, unless they have a history of conditioning problems.
Barry Sanders held out every year and was always ready to go 100% for game 1.
I can't really blame you and I doubt any fanbase would behave any differently. Bama is doing what everyone wants to do, though its probably just as fun for Clemson fans who must feel they are at the beginning of a fun ride too.
Why though? Houston already has the high priced fantasy player that can't win. What would Detroit get out if it, unless OKC sent a bunch of picks along with Westbrook, which leaves them with nothing except cap space.
Most years someone would need a reason why this wont happen. Are you concerned about QB at all, that seems to be the biggest area of concern, especially the lack of depth.
Marquette transfer Joey Hauser is reportedly coming to Michigan State. If true, that means the package deal with his brother is off, we only had room for one of them.
I doubt that any big name is going to UM unless they have a ton of baggage. They'd be signing up to play 2nd fiddle to Izzo in state and 2nd fiddle to Harbaugh on campus. And as I mentioned above, even if they performed significantly better than Harbaugh, Harbs will still earn 3x as much and...
I'm not sure anyone other than a reach on an "up and comer" will put up with living in Harbaugh's shadow. Beilein won a couple conference titles and got no love, while Harbaugh has never played for a title and he is adored.
This better work bigly from day 1 or LeBron will be a passive aggressive bitch about it. It will be interesting to see what FAs are willing to sign to play with him this summer.
Ohio State is always loaded with talent, but I'm leery of the QB situation, especially the lack of depth. Though we have seen them just plug in the new guy and keep humming along, it seems they're overdue for a whiff at QB.
Cassius will be back. Izzo makes jokes with him about him being the best PG he's ever seen that isnt an athlete. Great college player but doesn't have the height or quickness for the NBA.
I should have been home an hour before tipoff but my flight was delayed 3 hours, so I bought Wifi to try and watch on the plane. The problem was the bandwidth sucked and I saw about 3 minutes of actual game play.
We landed at halftime and I was able to see the last 10 minutes or so at home. I...
Congrats TT. I missed most of the game because of delayed flights and shitty Wifi on the plane, so I only know what I see in the box score, which is the TT defense being great
Anyway, good luck on Monday, you seem to be the team of destiny this year. Go get that title.
