The flipping of the camera angle after a change in a possession always bugs me. It takes me a beat longer to get refocused. I'm so use to watching basketball on TV so I feel most comfortable playing with the broadcast setting. I noticed that Bucks trend too. What happens if two players want to use the Bucks?

From what I read, the player who is the away team would get to use them. The player using the home team would have to choose one of their other teams.

If I understood it right, all 16 players had to select 8 teams they plan to use throughout the tournament. Also not sure if you can use the same team more than once. I would have to think if not if they selected 8 teams to play wth.

I'd be a little wary about saying things might not be as bad in CA just yet. There's people saying they might be seeing a flattening of the curve there due to their strict orders (as well as Washington), but there's also this

CA's testing rates are fairly low. Their numbers could bounce quite a bit with more testing.
Cases.almost don't matter it's all about keeping the deaths under control.

Yup.

You pointed this out the other day.

You aren't sitting in a hospital for 12 hrs everyday.

So, obviously things look different.

One of my daughters is a nurse in Florida and she's 6 months pregnant. Texting with her about what's happening where she is and seeing your posts gives me a pretty good idea of what folks in the medical field are seeing, especially those working in hospitals.

Then there's the other side of this for some medical folks. One of the other daughters is also a nurse who works at a doctor's office that is closed for at least the next couple of weeks or so and she was lucky because she was able to work a couple of weeks longer than the other nurses and office staff.

If California had the strict orders earlier than other states, it would mean less need for testing because there wouldn't be as many people exposed.

So, while increased testing may likely mean a bump in numbers of infected people, I'd be surprised if there was a significant one. Especially since we've been under stricter orders for about a month now.

You mean like Nancy Pelosi who was encouraging people to come visit Chinatown in late February?

Trumps greatest hits: covid-19 edition

-within a couple of days the number of positive cases is going to be down close to zero

-anyone who needs a test gets a test

-nobody could have ever seen something like this coming

-the cure can't be worse than the problem

-I don't take any responsibility at all- his answer when ask if he take any responsibility for how he's handled things

Odd Trump said all these things yet somehow nothing is ever his fault in the eyes of his supporters.

Not getting into this bullshit with you.

You think it's all Trump's fault. I don't think any politician has handled this well and they've all said stupid shit. You're not going to change anyone's mind and neither am I.

How about you keep the political side of this thing in the PF where it belongs?

So others can talk about this topic but since I mentioned actual things Trump has said it's an issue?

He is the so called leader of the country. And he's made some bad decisions. I wonder what you opinions would be if a dem. was the president right now & handled things exactly the way he has. And I never said it's all his fault. But the vast majority of it is.

I don't want you to ban me from this site so I'll stop talking about this topic. Are others allowed to talk about though? Valid question.

Yeah, that's what happened.

You've been going on about Trump ever since this thing started. No one here is focusing on him like you and it's getting old. You drop shit about him when no one is even talking about him.

If you want to go bitch about Trump or any other politician, we have a political forum with plenty of threads about it.

As for your last sentence. That's just lame as fuck.

Looking like the nba season will get canceled because they were so set on following what was happening in China even though China was never honest about the amount of covid deaths

Here's the only article I found on the meeting.

President Donald Trump Meeting With All Major-League Sports Commissioners On Saturday

My guess would be that it's to try to figure out the best way to move forward and complete/have seasons.

I'm sure they all know that we could use the distraction. Heck, I'm gonna be watching Wrestlemania 36 with my son over the next couple of days.

I never watch Wrestlemania. I don't even watch wrestling. But I have been with my son because he likes it and there isn't anything else. lol

I have become a fan of Becky Lynch aka "The Man". So there's that, I guess.

Get a kick out of The Advocate for Brock Lesnar too.

Yeah, Windbag said they are leaving themselves an out.

But, restarting the Season isn't the focus of the conversation.

The NBA suspended its season mid-March after Utah Jazz center Rudy Gobert tested positive for COVID-19. A timetable to return isn’t clear as the world deals with the coronavirus pandemic. On Friday, ESPN’s Brian Windhorst shared the latest school of thought from the league’s inner circle, noting there is increased pessimism the NBA can resume the 2019-20 campaign: “The talks between the players union and the league this week, I’ve talked to both sides of this issue, and it is clear that the NBA is angling to set up a deal that enables them to shut the season down.

“Now they don’t have to do that yet, and the way they’re negotiating they’re leaving themselves an option either way, but they’re not having talks about how to restart the league, they’re having financial talks about what would happen if the season shuts down, and I think there is a significant amount of pessimism right now.”

Yeah, saw that. It may just be that they are making sure they have all possibilities covered so that they can act quickly one way or the other.

If they're going to have several different plans to finish the season, they need to have a plan in place for what happens if they have to cancel it.

I'd expect that would be more difficult to figure out than restarting the season. There's a lot more to negotiate financially if they cancel.
