He’s still being sold as Super Bowl / MVP caliber QB material worth starting QB money. The average backup makes $1-2M/yr and is just glad to be able to play. Maybe they win the lottery and get to start some games down the line. But Kaepernick has gone down this road of calling the whole NFL racist and blackballing conspiracy for so long, he doesn’t realize his value has dropped to sub- Colt McCoy / AJ McCarron levels.

Had he agreed to take a $4 million contract he would’ve been in the NFL. You can’t get blackballed when you want to get paid above your pay scale. That is the myth of their is so many bad QB’s Kaep deserved a job. None of those other QB’s making money are as bad as he was when he turned into check down Charlie that’s team quit on him. Go the Michael Vick route of tucking your tail and prove the owners wrong.
