I have family in Phoenix, been there many times, everytime I'm there I see all kinds of Dallas flags flying in the greater Phoenix area. Hell. even Scobby knows this....Phoenix is darn near Dallas west.

BUT... You're exactly what I;m talking about when you say you watch every Dallas game and get more pleasure in a Dallas lose than an Eagles win...even after 20 years of nothing, and a SB win. Dallas remains your priority.

There were Cowboy fans at my last job in Phoenix than Cardinal fans. Dallas doesn’t remain my priority... I just like it when they lose. You are a legit fan being from Texas but you know my issue with all these fans all over the country who like them. Especially when you live in a city where they are your rival.

And I was saying “around here” as in this chat board. Not Phoenix or Philly.

ummmm I lived in Philly for 30 years. How long did you live in Dallas? There is absolutely ZERO reason for you to be a Cowboy fan especially being born and raised in a city that hates the Cowboys. Do all your neighbors hate you?

Sports Illustrated dubbed the Cowboys "America's Team" about million years ago.

I hated seeing that issue but I felt it was true.

I used to live in the Bay Area many moons ago, hence my favorite teams(SF Giants, RAIDERS) are from there. Even though I've been away for a very long time I still root for them. #loyalty

We moved to Mid TN around the time I was 8/9 yrs old and everyone I met in school had different faves I'm assuming because all they had here was college sports. The Nashville Sounds weren't even a thing back then. This was 72/73 and there were Cowboy fans, Viking vans, Dolphin fans, Redskin fans and RAIDERS fans. I don't recall even one Falcon fan that I knew back then.

As for baseball they were A's fans and Reds fans. Probably some braves fans but I don't recall knowing one.

I never felt the need to adopt any of our temas here. I like the Preds but I was rooting for the Bruins long before they came along.

So I understand folks liking teams from other regions.

I even understand folks rooting for "homers".
