I heard before the season that they were only allowing clear and a new "red" which is actually pink. However, I swear I saw Julio with a tinted one. Supposedly no dark visors.

I suppose part of defending a WR is the ability to read their eyes, especially when engaging the ball a darker visor would IMO create an unfair advantage.

I believe that you are 100% correct. The dark visors give off that rainbowish glare and actually can reflect light at a certain angles. Supposedly the visors are to protect the player's eyes. They've become a fashion statement. The ones that are the worst are the specially made "Tech Visor" that make playing at night much easier and improve vision during sunlight. Biggest problem is that they are reflective. Like the Tech Glasses sold on TV.
