But I think they need to skip Fried's spot in the rotation. This is like 5 bad starts in a row from him. I know the stuff is there, but after looking like a Cy Young candidate for a while, his ERA is now over 4.

I guess it's best not to cuss until the game is actually over. Buddy I went to the game with was wanting to leave during the 7th inning stretch. He was my DD, but we were in my truck and I had the keys, so I told him walking ain't crowded. I would have slept in my truck before leaving early.

But I will say, winning all these tight games and pulling comeback wins out of our asses isn't sustainable.
Considering how bad the pitching has been , this might be the most amazing 8 game win streak of all time, but we need to start pitching better. When the offense starts slumping, and eventually it will, we won't stand a chance doing what we're doing now.

Angels just released Cody Allen, who was the Indians closer for their WS run. He hasn't had a good season, but I'd be willing to give him a shot for the league minimum, We usually have good luck with struggling former good relievers for short spurts(Bach, Motte, Rexford, Grilli)
