These allegations, if true, certainly give a new meaning to the OPs thread title.
What you read elsewhere is as dumbass as.you are. No offenseI'm just stating what I read elsewhere. Either way, the timing of coming forward is curious at best.

Apparently, you need a prescription in those Warriors colored glasses, my friend.
Yep. I just went with the 2017 date from the tweet so, my bad.
According to all of the reports, it happened while he was working for the Warriors. For the record, I am not putting any blame on the Warriors or any other team. The Warriors should not be held responsible for the actions of one person. The woman at that time wrote a book and asked Luke Walton to write a forward and she went to his room privately to avoid detection. I have mixed feelings about that, but over-all there was a woman one time that was asking me to pick her up and was alone - In My case, she had a chance to ride with the people that she lived with and I thought she was mentally off, so I sent some one else to pick her up for the event. She then proceeded to stalk me, phone call after phone call until I got my number changed. So in summary men have to be smart if they are not jumpers and don't want to end up in trouble.Classic LA brainpower...he was hired by LA April 29 2016

Seems like a complicated situation,.not an easy one to parseActually, they have known each other for 10 years.
She also said that the incident she is suing him for took place in 2014.
She also said that at a charity event in 2017, he allegedly made the "you're killing me with that dress" comment.

I just meant it's not some random stranger he brought back to his hotel room and then we have to decide who's lying. They knew each other for years.Never is when it's he said/she said like that and there are no witnesses.
Plus, folks who know Luke are saying that would be completely out of character for him.
On the other hand, it's not like she has a history of making false accusations.

There's so many different ways this could have happened.
Channel 9 also reporting it happened when Walton was with the Warriors.
I think he is innocent, but FWIW, I have never seen a sexual predator exposed that everyone thought he was one before the alleged incident. It's a curious thing for her to come up to his room privately. A smart business person would have met in the lobby in a neutral place where there are witnesses. I have audited many companies in their residential homes with women who usually maintains the books. Forgetting about that thousands of men I have audited having their money controlled by their wives, I have met with people in the lobby of the hotel or at Starbucks, so it makes me think that this is strange and their is more to it. Normal professionals do not meet privately in a hotel room. And, imo, that's the thing that is the most curious in this situation. They've known each other for like 10 years. She says she considered him a mentor and he wrote the foreword for one of her books.
I don't really paint her as money-hungry, either. She was engaged to a guy who lost a leg in a motorcycle accident while he was suing the state of CA and Caltrans for damages and broke it off right before he got a $35 mil award. If she was in it for the money she could've just stayed with him.On the other hand, it's not like she has a history of making false accusations.
