Then Ty Lue is your man.
I'm not so sure of that. I think Lue was more of a benefactor along for the ride, but that might be the best thing as well and I'm sure the Lakers will be kissing LeBron's regarding the next coach

In fact, I think I'd be willing to trade LeBron straight up for Anthony Davis if I could get Kawhi Leonard to sign a max contract. Leonard and Davis with the Lakers young core would be far more exciting

You might be but New Orleans would laugh in your face offering just LeBron for him.

Not really, because AD already said he would leave, so the clock is ticking on him now.

I know but what would NO want with old ass LeBron? They can get a much better offer elsewhere.

Well I was just hoping that

1. The Lakers would be smart enough to trade him

2. Some one would be dumb enough to take him

I did the hard part of coming up with the idea. I thought from the beginning it was a bad idea, but if the Lakers make the right moves and He stays healthy, the Lakers could still win a championship. My biggest concern or question is If LeBron is healthy enough or did Walton use a system that triggered so many injuries

Luke is finalizing a deal with the Sacramento Kings to be their next head coach. I bet he is dancing for joy that he is away from The Lakers fiasco

Phil Jackson couldn't win with this team.

You have to remember what the team looks like now. The season is over, and the meme team are all free agents. The Lakers are currently Lebron, Ball, Ingram, Kuzma, Hart, Wagner, Bonga, Jemerrio Jones (non-guaranteed), an upcoming lottery pick, and over $41M in cap space. Phil could certainly craft a winning team from that scenario, and the Lakers need to get someone in place to put these pieces together (please don't leave it to the noob Pelinka).

If I'm not mistaken, I think NO is over the cap. They'd have to offer more than AD for Lebron.

Not in the new league year technically, but they have a lot of free agents to make decisions on (notably Stanley Johnson, Elfrid Payton, and soon Julius Randle). Randle and Payton are probably gone though (Stanley is an RFA).

Didn't Joerger help that team to rise? How did that work for him?
Sorry my friend, you aren't convincing that Walton has landed in anything but a good situation

It'd be funny if the Lakers hired Patrick Ewing.
