Only 4 winless teams remain.

It's likely 3 of these teams win this weekend (Nebraska v Bethune-Cookman (97%), UCLA vs Arizona (49%), UTEP at Rice(55%)), so let's get this in before then.

Nebraska shocks me. They have at least middle of the road talent in the B10 but that was one of the worst teams I've ever seen in person....

I thought UCLA would be better. But I also didn’t realize everyone bailed and they were starting over with a bunch of freshmen.

We play Northwestern this week. Minnesota the following week. THEN Bethune Cookman.

I see improvments, but absolutely no consistency. Penalties and turnovers have killed offensive momentum, turning big plays (possible TDs or 1st in goals) into punts. The biggest inconsistency in my opinion is the effort or mentality of this team. I think they are weak mentally.

But anyway, I don't think Nebraska needs to play lights out to win the next three games... but we at least need to stop getting in our own way.

And the crazy thing is they should've beaten the "ranked" Colorado team.

Well, not all freshman. They do have the legendary Wilton Speight at QB.

He only played in the opener. UCLA has had a frosh QB the rest of the season. He's a solid looking kid that has legs as well as some downfield zip, but he's young as fuck.

Hasn't DTR been the starter the last 4-5 games?
Speight got hurt, or something, in their first game. He won’t see the field again.

he got injured like 1 snap in. I suspect they probably would have had at least 1 win had he stayed healthy.

I had Nebraska at 2-10
UCLA at 3-9
UTEP at 1-11
SJSU at 2-10

So since "none of the above salad" isnt an option I guess I'll go with UCLA

He was 8-12 with a pick. Getting him out for the talented freshman was probably best case for them moving forward.

They have frosh all over the field. Might as well let them all grow as a unit and get that experience in together.

We saw they have talent, but they make too many mistakes. Let them grow out of them as a unit. Spigot is a dufus that doesn't belong on a college football field. At least not a good one.

Nebraska for me. Expected more from them than being winless headed into Week 6.

Sure - I was surprised that San Jose State lost to UC Davis.

But on a happier note, I was most surprised last week when I tuned into SJSU vs. Colorado State to see that Tyler Nevens was playing. This was surprising because the previous time I had seen him, he was being carted off the field on a backboard after getting knocked out cold against UC Davis. I was afraid he wouldn't be able to walk again, let alone play football. So seeing him playing again just a few weeks later was indeed a pleasant surprise.
