tOfficial 2018 Braves season thread

I would play Markakis and Freddie only half of the remaining games. Start Duda at 1B and Lane Adams in RF. I would also give Kyle Wright a start and Bryse Wilson another start. And play Charlie every game at different positions to give Guys days off and keep Charlies bat in rhythm.

2018 NL East champs.

Feels good don't it?

But since we've clinched, I'm all for tanking to ensure we don't have home field for any playoff round. We do seem to play the Phillies better at home, but against everyone else, we're a far better road team for whatever reason.

I don't know. It seems like we've been extremely hard on a team that has a real good shot of getting 90 wins. I'm already pleased with this season, but going forward, just making the playoffs won't be enough to satisfy me.

Oh this season is a success IMO, I fully expect us to lose in the NLDS, and I will be pissed during it, but after a couple of days I will be happy. But starting Next Year, NLDS aint good enough.

So the Phils are going to be SPENDING this offseason and putting together a completely new team without rebuilding. They are listening for offers on everyone but Nola and Hoskins.

Yep. This team was playing with house money this year imo. It's stupid young and most expected it to be mediocre at best (at least I did) and they won the division. They're basically a year ahead of schedule.
