Yup. All these long ass kicks like that these guys are doing now are nothing but show for social media. Don't get me wrong, it's still impressive, but it's completely different than kicking in a game when you've got like a 1/4 second to kick that shit over a bunch of 6'6 dudes with hops.Long kick, but would get blocked in a game.

Interesting. Never heard of sech.There used to be a rule that if you made a fair catch you could try a field goal attempt without the other team having an attempt to block it. Not sure if its still in place in college football (or if it ever was). But who knows it might be worth a try if you have an 81 yard kicker.
