But wouldn't be nice to say at the beginning of the season that we took out a team that has been a thorn in our side for past 2 years?

Be awesome, still rather it happen a bit later.

This will be the 4th time in 5 years where the Cowboys open at home vs the Giants and also their 5th straight Home game to open the season.

GB will be at full strength so it'll be a good early test to see what Seattle is made of.
I think Lacy will shred his former team's D...unless he has eaten too much shredded pork.

Wow, they really bent the Cards over with early start away games. 6 out of 8 of them are set for the first time slot.

Big game. Wish the Seahawks could start the season with a home game and ease into the season.

No problem Harold the Pack is not as good as last year they lost more than they obtained and the draft will bring in young inexperienced players that will not help much starting out

Yea I think so but then again the Seahawks Oline will not be very seasoned with the changes that they will have there in week one

Should be in better shape then the start of last year. Don't the Packers also have some questions on the OL this year?

Yea the big question is who takes the right guard Langs place? That is the place they got worse and that most are concerned with. We dont have a back up guard that is #1 quality like we did last year when they cut Sitton. It will be interesting to see how they fill that position. If they find a rookie or find a free agent. Some have suggested Spriggs the rookie last year from Indiana who has been quite good but he is a tackle. Have to see what happens

Was his rookie season good?

Packers 2016 offensive line additions: Jason Spriggs has quiet rookie year

With no clear place for Spriggs along the line, the team utilized him in a number of ways during his rookie season. The towering blocker played as a blocking tight end in certain heavy packages, backed up at guard, and even saw some limited action as a tackle. His performance rose and dipped as a consequence.

Spriggs' future still appears to lie at tackle, but with T.J. Lang set to hit free agency, the team might try to force him inside to guard in 2017. Either way, the second-year man needs to add significant strength to compete.
