Missing the point again. The time that we drafted Long, JOnes, and Scherff. I wanted Johsnon, Gabe Jackson, and Williams. So I was right again. Just admit it.

1. Williams was and still is over rated. I would take Scherff who fits our team better any day of the week.

I would have taken Murphy over Jackson for the same reason.

And i would have taken Coleman over Johnson.

But wait...the only thing you are looking for is some one to admit you were right... well fuck that hoss.

You also tend to overwrite players and your
David Johnson, Leonard Williams, and Gabe Jackson would all be Redskins. Instead of Matt jones, Scherff, and Long. Which three would you rather have?
you also tend to overweight players, and your team would have no quarterback, because you would trade away Kirk for a bag of rice.

Where is that coming from? I did previously say that I would trade KC for 2 first rounders. How is that a bag of rice??

Long is our starting center in case you missed it Forest. You base your opinion off of what Sports center and Mike Mayock say, to hell with whats good for the team, you want the guys who are in the highlights reels... much like Bruce and Vinny.

Yea right. Jackson would of solved the LG problem and we would have never had to spend the money for Lavou. Johnson is self explanatory. Williams would of helped the defense. Cmon Sharky

Go ahead and defend the Paea and Culliver signings. Signs Paea and passes on Williams in the draft. Sure that was a great move.

The problem is, you place entirely too much faith in Mayock and Kiper not realizing that these guy dont get paid to rate players. They get paid to HYPE players. Williams was over hyped by Mayock. I fully agree Johnson is a better feature back than Jones. But I also said from day one, trying to make Jones into a feature back when we already had one in Morris was stupid.

I have admitted Culliver and Paea were bad signings, but our GM at the time wasnt known for his free agent skills. It was for his draft skills. And it will be interesting to see how the guys he drafted pan out in the league.

Revisionist history. You started with that take, but your subsequent replies indicated that you would be fine if the Redskins traded him for much less. Along the way you constantly portrayed Cousins as a money grubbing guy with minimal talent who has no capacity to get better. None of this was backed by any actual quotes from Cousins - just your tendency to put way too much stock in rumors from the media (along w/ a few other folks on this forum).

BTW - you completely ignore the fact that any past or future GM for the Redskins will not be making any selections on their own. Let's say you were the GM & wanted certain guys drafted or selected in free agency. You would have to be pretty naïve to believe that you will get your way on all or perhaps even the majority of those selections. The GM does not have nor apparently never had final say so in these areas. You appear to be blind to this fact due to your blind loyalty to Allen & Snyder.

Again - how dare SM draft an all-pro guard. Oh that's right you would have found one in another draft since you consider yourself such a genius. I am starting to get the feeling that you care more about being right then about the success of the Redskins.

Dean you are all about 20 20 hindsight crap . You forget you would have taken Moses over Murphy even though we got both and you complained for months about it . You also forget that if we drafted Williams. We would still have a hole at og .

I am just proving that basically anyone can have success controlling our drafts.

Rg would have been easily filled. Im not going back on history, Im just proving our drafts could have gone a hell of a lot better.

Given recent and past history what exactly would lead anyone to believe that Allen or Snyder would give complete control to anyone else in the front office? Forget about SM - do you believe that Shanahan was the one making the decision for the RG3 trade? How about most of Cerrato's moves? Again - this is what you ignore about the SM era - at least it provided hope that someone beyond Snyder was directing the overall football operations. Oh that's rt you don't care - as long as you can be proven rt about some of your past choices anything related to Redskins success is secondary.
