Actually the question would be if we DONT improve. We have the Oline in place for the most part. According to the Bruce Allen Cool-aid drinkers, we improved the D-line and Safety position. We still have the greatest CB ever to play the position. A blind Monkey SHOULDNT be able to fuck up the positives we have in place. And yet Dan and Bruce seem dead set on doing just that. We SHOULD have had Cousins signed long term two months ago.

If this team isnt serious playoffs contenders, that will prove that Dan and Bruce couldnt find thier ass with a roll of TP and a rear view camera.

What the fuck is going on in our front office?? Again. Why is it so hard to decide on signing the QB, how is it that guys get cut and replaced for what seems like questioning the direction of the team. Because lets face it, RJF got cut not because of a lack of production or high salary cap number. Nope, winning football teams win because there's great unity and accountability among them. That unity/accountability comes from the top down. Without it, the talent that you speak of is playing for themselves and their bottom line. That is NOT new here, just think of the many times that we acquired players, paid them well and didn't get from them the same level of play that got them the original big contract. This is an ORGANIZATION Coach, the team is just a part of that.

On this I agree with you, but only to this extent. To me Scott McCloughan represented something that this organization/team has lacked in a long time, and that is a dedicated GM with exclusive responsibilities relating to drafting, personnel, contracts and trades. Bruce Allen IS NOT that guy. So I'm not as big a fan of Scott as I am of getting someone in here with the competency and talent as we all believed Scott to have had. Doesn't have to be him, just someone other than BRUCE!
